Tonight’s the big night. Be sure to cheer on your Project Unify athletes tonight right before the varsity game. Anyone who is helping/playing tonight please please plan to arrive by 6:15.

Attention Wildcats! Today is  the boys and girls basketball games against Southview! It is a gold rush and gold long sleeve shirts are being sold during lunches. The shirts are $15. Get yours before they sell out and support class government. This is a fundraiser for prom! Similiar to last year;s fill-it-up games, the goal is to fill the entire lower section with Northview students. Get there early and wear gold

Food Drive: Today is the last day of the canned and non-perishable food drive to benefit families through Sylvania Area Family Services. The food items will be collected during your English periods. The period that collects the most food items will receive a free pizza party!

Respect Club:  Respect club will meet today after school, in the Think Tank, across from the Media Center. We will continue our discussion on consent and text messages. Text @nvrespect to 81010 to join the Remind. All are welcome.

Band and orchestra are spreading holiday cheer with good music and the gift of giving! Come to the concert in the PAC tonight at 7:00 and and bring your gently used shoes! Celebrate the holidays while listening to good music and supporting people in developing nations.

Art Club:  Join us today at 2:30 in E-19A for our first meeting when we bleach T-shirts. You bring the colored T-shirt and we’ll supply the bleach. Space is limited for this activity so you must sign up ahead of time. See Mrs. Seal-Roth if you have any questions.

Congratulations to the NV QuizCats for their huge conference win last night over Ottawa Hills! Following an awards ceremony to honor NV team captain, Patrick Andres, for his three-peat as league MVP, he then led the QuizCats in their 475-100 rout of the Green Bears. Congratulations also to the QuizCats JV team who narrowly defeated their Green Bear opponents 260-220. Great regular season QuizBowl! Now on to the playoffs!

Project Unify: The annual project unify basketball game between  Northview & Southview is on December 14th. We need peers to help play and support students with special needs. If you are interested in helping please stop by D8 to sign up or e-mail Miss Minard at jminard@sylvaniaschools.org.

2018-2019 Cosmetology Competition:  The Sylvania Cosmetology program held their “Annual Junior/Senior Hair & Nail Competition” on Monday, December 3rd, 2018. Northview & Southview students utilized their amazing talents in the art of hairstyling, coloring, cutting and nail art.  A huge congratulations to all the winners!

Interact General Meeting will be TODAY AFTER SCHOOL ONLY in the PAC  at 2:40: We are writing holiday encouragement notes for cancer patients at the Toledo Children’s’ Hospital.  We are also making cards for some very special Wildcats, too. If you would like to donate a small gift for the children at the hospital, books, blankets, and stuffed animals are greatly appreciated!  Check out the Interact Classroom and Remind notices for more details.
