Attention Art Club:  During our next two meetings we will be bleaching T-shirts.  For Monday, Sept 20, all you need to bring is yourself and your creativity.  You will create and cut out your design!  The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board, so be sure to reserve your spot ASAP.

Tonight is the Project Unify volleyball game. We will be playing in the main gym at Northview at 6 pm. Please plan to arrive by 5:50 pm for uniforms and to sort out teams. There will be a short party afterward to celebrate. 

Don’t Forget- Science Olympiad Tryouts are after school today in D (Roth’s Room)! Remember your pencil, cheat sheet and calculator.

Wondering which college to go to?  Need more information before making a decision?  The Guidance Office will have many colleges visiting Northview in the next 2 months to help you in your decision making!

Next week:   On Monday, September 13th visits will include the U. S. Army/UT ROTC, U. S. Navy, U. S. Air Force and Thursday, September 16th Ohio Northern University will be visiting.  

You must sign up in the Guidance Office to attend each college presentation and receive a pass to attend.

Homecoming Court Voting All students will have the opportunity to vote for their classes’ Homecoming Court Representative. Voting occurs on the following days via Google Form:

  • Monday, September 20: HoCo Voting Round 1, All School
  • Tuesday, September 21: HoCo Voting Round 2, All School
  • Wednesday, September 22: HoCo Voting Round 3, Seniors Only

Homecoming Bid On Sale Wednesday, September 22 – Friday, October 1 during all lunch periods

  • Students must have a completed dance form and guest form, along with payment (cash or checks made out to Northview High School) to purchase the bid

Freshmen – Are you interested in running for class govt?  Scan one of the QR codes on the posters in D or A hall for more information. The election will be held the week of Sept. 6th. Have questions? See Mrs. Liske in room E-2.

Masks are Required at all times in the building and when riding the bus to and from school. This also applies to students who transfer to/from Northview.

Project Unify volleyball practice will take place tonight from 7:30 pm-8:30 pm in the Northview auxiliary gym. We can still use more volunteers to help play and support our athletes from all across the district. Questions- ask Mrs. Weisenburger in D8

Safe Space is having a meeting today, Thursday, September 2nd, in F-6, after school. Safe Space, formerly Respect Club, is a club that allows people to talk about the things they keep bottled up. We share things that trouble us and we let people know that we care and understand what they experience. At this meeting, we will be talking about insecurities and self-respect, because those are just two of the many things that a lot of people need to talk about. We will meet every other Thursday, beginning this week. We hope to see you there!

Attention seniors – Are you interested in helping plan events like prom and homecoming? Do you want to earn preferential seating at graduation? Join senior class gov in Mrs. Martin’s room, B2, on Wednesday, Sept 1st at 7:05 to learn more about becoming a senior class rep.

Interested in ways to bring kindness to the Sylvania community? SIgn up for Acts of Random Kindness Club! First meeting will be this Thursday, Sept 2nd in A2- Mrs. Nowak’s room. See you there!

Attn Swimmers and Divers! There will be a callout meeting for anyone interested in swim or dive next Wednesday, September 1st in Coach Williams’ room A5. Meeting will be about 20 minutes.
