Girls interested in playing volleyball next school year: There is a meeting Monday,  April 10th at 7:30 pm in the cafeteria

 

Attention freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.  Are you interested in studying law? do you like watching criminal justice shows? Then Mock Trial may be for you.  There will be an informational meeting for the season that starts next year on Wednesday, April 12 in room F4 after school.

 

Attention Seniors: If you ordered graduation announcements from Jostens and did not pick them up during lunch periods on Wednesday, please retrieve them from Ms. Davis in B2 as soon as possible.

 

Attention Seniors: TODAY is the last day to check the list to see if you will be receiving an HonorsDiploma, Career Tech Diploma and Presidential Award is posted outside of the Main Office. Please check the list. If you feel your ID number was omitted and should be there, see Mrs.Kobee in the Records Office.

 

Hey Northview! Monday is Chipotle night for the Class of 2020. Drop by on the Chipotle on Central Avenue Monday from 4-8 and mention Northview Class of 2020. Then write your name and student ID on the back of your receipt and give it to Ms. Nelson or leave it in her box in the office for a chance to win a $25 Chipotle gift card!

 

Seniors: If you were not able to attend the senior meeting during homeroom or did not complete the senior information form while they were there, please stop in the office by next Thursday, April 13th and fill one out.

 

Senior slide show: Senior please bring in 2 photos of yourself  (a baby or younger picture and a more current picture). The current photo can be outside of school, participating in your favorite activity, time with family, etc. Due date: Monday, April 24th to the main office.or email pics to chadmichaelsimon @gmail. com

 

Hey Northview! NHS is running a food drive that will benefit the Sylvania Community Center. Canned goods may be donated from April 10th to the 13th, during lunch periods in the cafeteria.

 

Maggie Eding, is the Musician of the Week. Maggie has been a most outstanding member of the Northview Band Program all four years of high school.  Maggie has demonstrated the highest level of musicianship and leadership throughout her career here at Northview.  As this year’s senior field commander, Maggie has been a tremendous leader to the band.  Her positive attitude and wonderful playing add an immeasurable quality to the band program.  Maggie has been a member of; the top band (Wind Ensemble) all four years, the Northview Marching Band, Pep Bands, played in the Pit Orchestra and has participated in multiple Honors bands & OMEA festival events.  This year, she was principal chair in the OMEA District 1 Honor Band.  Maggie is also involved in lacrosse, Leadership Academy, Interact, Northview Leadership Council, and  National Honors Society. Maggie is the daughter of Peg and Ed Eding.

 

Check your school email for the student council, class officer and class rep signup/election packet. See or email Mrs. Blue with questions.

 

Seniors Attending Owens Community College: Graduating high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or above will automatically be considered for a $1,000 scholarship per semester upon receipt of their official high school transcript and after completion of their application to Owens.

Graduating high school seniors who have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0-3.69, enrolling at Owens in the fall semester, may also be considered for this scholarship.

Austin’s Book Club Donations : your first period will be collecting new and used children’s books for Austin’s Book Club.  Any new book donations benefit the family of newborn’s in intensive care at the Toledo Hospital. The class that collects the most books by April 12th will receive 3 dozen donuts!

 

Attention Seniors! Scholarship deadlines are quickly approaching!  Many of these scholarships have minimal requirements which mean easy money for you!  Stop down to the Guidance Office and check out the scholarship drawer.

 

Seniors: Volunteer Hours are DUE BY THURSDAY, APRIL 13TH TO THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.

 

Attention All Senior Student Athletes: Applications for the Athletic Booster Club Scholarships are now available in the Athletic Office.  The Application deadline is April 13th.  Please see Mr. Irwin if you have any questions.

 

Attention seniors:  Have you applied and been accepted to the University of Michigan?  There is a scholarship opportunity available to you in the Guidance Office, please see Mrs. Kuebler.  The deadline is April 10, 2017.
