Wondering which college to go to? Need more information before making a decision? The Guidance Office will have many colleges visiting Northview in the next 2 months to help you in your decision making!
College visits include:
September 11th: University of Mount Union & Bowling Green State University,
September 13th – Walsh University, Ursuline College, & The Art Institute of Michigan
September 14th – Defiance College. You must sign up in the Guidance Office to attend each college presentation and receive a pass to attend.

Anyone interested in being a lifeguard – stop by and see Ms. Huey for more information and to sign up by September 12, class starts September 15. ( 9/7 – 9/12)
The NV Speech and Debate Kick off party will be in Hazel’s room, F7 TODAY, September 7th, immediately after school. There will be Food, Fun, and Varsity letters for those who earned them last year!
Its a COLOR CLOUD! This Friday for the football game student council is hosting color cloud! Sales for tshirt and powder are during all lunches until Friday! It’s only $5 so come out and support Northview!
Girls Softball: This Friday, September 8th, there will be a brief meeting after school for all girls interested in playing softball this spring for the LadyKats. Coach Bryan will meet you in rooms E3 and E4 for 15 minutes to discuss fall and winter workouts.
Parking Announcement: Junior and Senior parking tags have been sold out! If you still want to purchase a parking pass, you will have to Park in the lot at the corner of Silica and Monroe.
*Sophomores can now start purchasing passes, but you will also be parking at the lot at the corner of Monroe and Silica.
*If you are a Northview student that starts your day at Southview, we will have a limited number of parking tags available for the front lot. Please see Mr. Monheim if you are interested.
Attention anyone interested in getting senior pictures taken: Get your pictures taken at RELICS IMAGING located behind PNC Bank on Monroe St. in Sylvania. The senior class receives 10% of all session and print purchases when you provide the fundraiser post card. Musician of the week: Jessica Aldrich. Jessica has been an outstanding member of the Northview Band Program all four years of high school. Jess has demonstrated strong leadership and an immense amount of performance talent throughout her career here at Northview. She is a section leader of the band auxiliary, takes lead in running practices, coordinating routines, and working with our advisors. Her contagious smile, positive attitude, and wonderful twirling ability add so much to the band program. In addition to twirling with the Northview Band, Jess is an active competitive twirler with the Sylvania Twirling Stars. She has won countless awards and has participated in many contests such as Miss Majorette of Ohio, AYOP, the Ohio State Fair, and the Miss Christmas pageant. In addition to band, Jess is also involved in the engineering tech program at Northview, helps teach students and groups at the Sylvania Twirling Stars, and is a baton instructor at the Fred J Miller band camps, where she spends her summer traveling & teaching students all over the country. Jess is the daughter of Steve Aldrich and Carole Arman.
