ATTENTION WILDCATS!
Homecoming voting has begun! Please visit your school email for directions, voting ballots and the forms needed to purchase a bid during all lunch periods in the Cafeteria, Tuesday, Sept. 26 – Thursday Oct. 5th. See Ms. Davis or Mrs. Schloegl (E8) with questions!

Volunteers and Chaperones Needed: We need parent volunteers during all lunch periods (10:30-12:55) to assist in selling bids on Thursday, Sept. 28-Tuesday, Oct.3. Chaperones are also needed for Homecoming October, 7 8pm-11pm. Check here for more information or to sign up Homecoming bids Slots

Homecoming: Homecoming bids go on sale during all lunch periods starting tomorrow, through Thursday, Oct. 5. Bids are $15 per person and you must complete a bid dance form and guest form prior to purchasing. Please check your school email to receive the form, or see Ms. Davis in B2 with any questions.

Hispanic Heritage Month: September 15-October 15 marks Hispanic Heritage Month. It is important to take this time to recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the group’s heritage and culture
Sonia Maria Sotomayor is an Associate Justice of the Supreme court of the United States. Born in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents, in 2009 she made history as the first Hispanic and only the third woman to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. Our Spanish Honor Society chapter is named after her!

Adam is a member of the Chamber Orchestra, and is currently serving as Vice President of the Northview Orchestras.   Adam has represented Northview in the OMEA NW Regional Orchestra, District Orchestra, All-State Orchestra, NAfME All-National Honors Orchestra, and Toledo Youth Orchestras and performs regularly at Solo and Ensemble. This past summer Adam studied violin at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy. Adam has also been a member of the Northview Marching Band, Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, A Capella Choir, and Pit Orchestra. After graduation, Adam will attend college to study music performance on the violin. A private student of Vasile Beluska, Adam is the son of Steve and Susan Murphy.

On Thursday Sept. 21, there will be a meeting after school for all girls interested in playing lacrosse this spring for the LadyKats. Coach Carter will meet you in the Commons for 15 minutes to discuss fall and winter workouts.

Parking Announcement:  Junior and Senior parking tags have been sold out! If you still want to purchase a parking pass, you will have to Park in the lot at the corner of Silica and Monroe.

*Sophomores can now start purchasing passes, but you will also be parking at the lot at the corner of Monroe and Silica.

*If you are a Northview student that starts your day at Southview, we will have a limited number of parking tags available for the front lot. Please see Mr. Monheim if you are interested.
