The World Language Department would like to welcome the Costa Rican and Panamanian exchange students to Northview! We are excited for you to have the Wildcat experience!

Tomorrow, Jan 14th is the 1st donation day for the Feb 4th Northview Garage Sale! Drop off your unwanted items behind the school from 10-2pm.

Students: PLEASE go check Lost & Found in Mr Monheim’s Office Area! There are coats, sweatshirts, jewelry, shoes , gloves, etc. Many items were left at sporting events!

There’s another Fill-it-up game TONIGHT when our Boys and Girls Basketball teams host the Anthony Wayne Generals. We will be sending our old Willie the Wildcat mascot costume off to retirement during halftime of the girls game and introducing the NEW Willie the Wildcat at halftime of the boys game. Once again the first 400 students will receive a white Free Willie t-shirt. You’ll need to pick-up a ticket for your t-shirt prior to the game. You can get your t-shirt ticket by purchasing a game ticket or showing your sports pass during all lunches. Chick-fil-a will be available in the concession stand.

Applications are now available for anyone interested in being on the yearbook or newspaper staff for next year. Stop by room E-6 and see Ms. Huey to pick up an application and sign up for an interview.

Want a chance to see your favorite teacher or administrator get pied in the face during Jan 20th’s Student Council Assembly?? Donate your loose change (to the senior class government) during your lunches until Wednesday, January 18th. Get the chance to pie them yourself by donating the most money!

Juniors- There will be an ACT Crash Course during the 2Hr Delay on Thursday January 26th.
Just show up in the Cafeteria. Since these are 2 hour delay days, students will need to transport themselves to Northview by 7:35 a.m.
Attention Students & Staff: Please consider donating personal hygiene items for the 6th Annual “Have A Heart” toiletry drive to help restock local pantries. A box will be in the main office, Jan. 9-20th. Hygiene items such as toilet paper, Kleenex, toothpaste, razors, and deodorant are needed.

The Northview Garage Sale is Coming! Saturday, February 4th. Donations will be accepted Saturdays – Jan 14th, 21st, and 28th, behind the school. Student & parent volunteers are needed for the collection Saturdays, Friday before the sale, and the day of the sale. Spread the word, clean out your closets, and get rid of unused items! All money raised contributes to After-Prom.

Attention Seniors: Come to Guidance and check out the scholarship drawer every week! New ones are coming in all the time. We may have a scholarship just for you!

The Musician of the week is senior violist Brian Pribe. A member of the Chamber Orchestra, Brian has represented Northview at OMEA Regional and District Orchestra, is a member of the Toledo International Youth Orchestra, and performs regularly at Solo and Ensemble. Here at Northview he participates in our cross country and lacrosse teams, as well as our nationally recognized rocketry program NASA Student Launch. After graduation, Brian will attend the University of Toledo to major in Mechanical Engineering. A private student of Yang Kun Song, Brian is the son of Donna and Bill Pribe.
