Special Schedule (Class Olympics)

 

Attention Seniors! If you ordered your cap & gown from Jostens and did NOT pick it up during the Senior Luncheon, see Ms. Davis in B2 TODAY!

 

Attention Seniors! The Senior Assembly & Graduation seating chart are posted outside of the main office and cafeteria. Please locate your Row Letter, Seat Number, AND Bus Number on the postings, as well as important times and dates needed for Senior Assembly, Graduation Practice, and your actual graduation ceremony. See Ms. Davis in B2 with any questions.

 

Link Leaders:  Any student who returned an application to be a LINK leader, you MUST attend a meeting EITHER Thursday May 17th at 2:30 in E3/4 OR Friday May 18th at 7:15 am in GUIDANCE.

 

Panera:  Class government will be having a fundraiser at Panera on Central Ave. this Saturday from 4-8pm.  Come out and support as this is a fundraiser for next years prom!

 

Musician of The Week: Senior, Musab Ozbakir, is the Northview High School Musician of the Week. Musab has been a member of the Northview Band Program all four years of high school.  Musab has been a tremendous asset to the band program throughout his time at Northview.  This year, Musab is principal bassoonist of our top band, Wind Ensemble.  During his time at Northview, Musab has been a member of the Northview Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, and has performed in numerous collegiate and OMEA honors groups and festivals throughout the region.  Musab studies applied bassoon with Pam Kazmiercsak.  Musab is the son of Nazim & Figen Ozbakir.

Attention boys interested in running Cross Country next fall, there will be an informational meeting Thursday, May 24th at 6:00 in the Media Center.

 

Lost and Found: All After Prom t-shirts and jewelry that were found at the After Prom can be picked-up in the main office.

 

Seniors:  When fines/fees are being paid please note that no personal checks will be accepted after Friday, May 18, 2018.  You will need to pay with a money order or cash in the exact amount.

 

City BBQ: Are you feeling hungry after Class Olympics? Come and support Sophomore Class Govt. at City BBQ on Central Avenue!  Come anytime TODAY between 10:30am-10:00pm. 25% of the proceeds go back to the sophomore class! Make sure to bring a paper or online flyer because they must be presented and scanned to benefit the sophomores!

 

Austin’s BookClub: From now until May 18, students in Educators Rising and FCCLA are helping raise money and children’s picture books for Austin’s Book Club.  Book donation bins are located in the Main Office and in the Preschool in E-24. You can also donate money and books online at austinsbookclub.org/

Do you have nothing to do May 18th? Come join Student Council for a free block party with bounce houses, a boxing ring, snow cones, ice cream, and more!

 

Bubble Soccer 2.0: May 18th from 3-6pm at Northview as part of the STUCO Block Party.  The new price is $5 and the first 100 people to sign up get a free t-shirt!  Come on down to E22 to sign up with 5 of your friends!

 

Are you interested in being a Class officer? Election information can be found in your school email. Be sure to read it over and meet the deadlines in order to run.
Student Council Sign-ups are also in your school email. So if you want to spend a couple days at camp Storer with your friends and help plan the fun stuff around Northview – sign up today!

 

Lost and Found We have several lost treasures that need to be found by YOU!  The lost treasures are prescription glasses, shoes, tennis shoes, gym clothes, shoe bags with swim items, clothes, coats, and other odds and ends.

Lost and Found is located in the Student Services/Mr. Monheim’s Office area.

 

Parking Information- 2018/19 School Year: Sophomores and Juniors with a license, that are interested in a parking pass for next school year, can pick up a parking registration form from Mr. Monheim.  He will have these available in his office and during lunch periods.  Once the registration is filled out and signed, students can return the completed form with a valid driver’s license and $30 cash or check made out to Northview High School.  Students will also be able to purchase parking passes at the Welcome Wildcat days in early August.

 

This is a reminder for all students in the building:  Using your cell phone to record pictures or videos of the preschool children, including through SnapChat, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED due to preschool regulations and privacy policies.  If you have questions, please see the preschool director, Mr. Eickholt, in E-24.
